To Nevis via St. Kitts
Our plane had propellers. So needless to say, you can imagine how that felt as we rose sharply into the puffy Caribbean clouds circling upward with beautiful San Juan below us. The seats were very cramped, so much so that as the fellow seated in front of me reclined his 350 lbs the back of the seat crunched my knee real good. It didn't seem to phase him, so I enjoyed his rhythmic rocking to loud hip hop as he listened on his Beats headphones while trying to fill out customs papers.
We made it to St. Kitts in about 90 minutes and were welcomed by beaming smiles from the Four Seasons personnel who boarded us on a nice air conditioned mini bus. After a short ride to the dock we were handed chilled tightly rolled towels to freshen up with and an ice cold bottle of water.
Next we boarded a super fast speed boat and jetted off for Nevis, imbibing with some of the local brew pinching ourselves that all of this was not a dream, it was really happening.
The Four Seasons Resort and Spa sits right on a beautiful secluded beach. The Four Seasons staff guided us to check in where we were greeted by Laurie and Melanie from our corporate events department before being shown to our suite. It is a dream trip for sure. Later on tonight we are in for a special treat as our North America CEO, Craig Boundy will host a special welcome reception.
I will post more pictures and videos as time permits, so watch this space.
