Dinner 7/8 & Kayaking 7/9 and Quick Tour
This is definitely one of the nicest vacations we have ever taken. Everyone here, the staff at the hotel and excursions, and our Experian colleagues have been so friendly and nice. It's a different vibe for sure. More laid back than California. I am finally starting to relax.
Last night we had another happy accident, mistakenly choosing the Crishi Beach Club for dinner, driving by taxi only to discover the place was closed. So our marvelous driver took us to the Coconut Grove, which was a few doors down, and wow, what a fantastic choice. The coconut grove is an open palapa style building with a thatched roof. The Caribbean breeze cools you off while you dine on some of the finest food Nevis has to offer. We blew our budget, throwing all caution to the wind ordering appetizers, wine, beer, main course and desert, A simply amazing meal. We were seated at the balcony overlooking the gorgeous Caribbean sea as the sun went down. Then near the end of dinner, a spectacular rain shower broke out. We left to the sound of rain drops falling on the wooden deck.
This morning we were up bright and early for our second day activity, ocean Kayaking. There were several of us on this outing down the beach, which proved to be quite the upper body work out for all. We stopped several times for drinks and snacks, even did a spot of snorkeling before turning to the final destination on the beach, a fantastic cafe for lunch.
We had great lunch conversation before heading back to the hotel to relax. Tonight we will be enjoying a very special dinner with our Group President, Hiq, and the rest of my business unit Elite winners. We can't wait.
Here is a quick video. Sorry there are only a few clips this time. Most of the day was spent with the GoPro camera, and I only just now realized that I do not have a micro SD adapter to transfer tHE footage. But I made you a Hyperlapse video tour of the Four Seasons. Enjoy!
