Rainy days and mondays - walking around Dublin

FACT: The average annual rainfall in Dublin is 150 centimeters (59 inches).

Today we strolled through Dublin, mostly in Temple Bar area. Our walk included a stop at an old prison, and St. Patrick's Cathedral.  In our first video from the day, we find Gary and Stephani camped out in a coffee shop less than a 1/4 mile from the hotel, listening to U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" contemplating their next move.   We knew it would be rainy here in Dublin, but snow too?

So we set off to discover more of the city from here after the rain cleared up, stopping in at the local Trinity College, and its picturesque campus. The public are welcome to walk around and take pictures. Students could be seen at different corners holding debates. One fellow with a very Dublin City accent was debating the merits of adding a George Lucas "Star Wars" curriculum to the roster of courses.

It wasn't long before more rain came though, so we rushed to an archway while a heavy rain doused Dublin, leaving a spectacular rainbow, complete with a pot of gold afterwards.
