Getting Excited for our UK 2025 adventure to begin.

Stephani and I will be taking a long awaited trip to the UK later in April and we are super excited to be going.  It's my first trip home since our lovely Scotland/London trip in 2018. We will fly to London first, then take a commuter plane immediately over to Belfast.

Taking Dad Home

The main driver for this trip is to bring closure to my father's death. We are taking Dad's ashes with us.  Yesterday, we transferred them into the travel-save bamboo container, which is compulsory so that X-rays can be done. There was, of course, a hole in the plastic bag, so a little dust spilled out, but not too much. The plan is to bury most of his ashes in the Belfast Cemetary, which will be our first stop after landing in Belfast. We will be in Northern Ireland for a few days before heading over to England.

One of the most happy places I ever saw my Dad was his beloved Farnham Golf Club. He kept a painting on his wall depicting the view of the clubhouse and the 18th green. The nice people at Farnham Golf Club were kind enough to give permission for us to bring a small sample to be spread where there is a great view.

As always, we will be posting to our trusty Blogger Stockton Central site, so stay tuned.
